- café solo = a small strong coffee without milk (caffe espresso in Italian)
- café cortado = small but slightly bigger than solo, with a dash of hot milk and usually served in a glass
- café con leche = regular size made with 50% hot milk (café au lait in French; caffe latte in Italian)
Another type is café Americano which is a large weak black coffee.
Lastly, in Valencia there is café bombón. It is café solo with sweetened condensed milk. You should stir it well. Warning: It is very sweet!

You should come to Valencia and enjoy all the delicious food and drinks.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually drink coffee but I love café bombón! And true about being fatter, I might be carrying a "spare tyre" back to Japan.
