The church is traditionally the centre of life in European towns and villages. In Spain, there is usually a church in the centre of every village. Towns and cities have several churches. There are two basic designs: one is with a tower containing bells, and the other type is with a dome. The dome type usually has blue glazed tiles. Churches are beautifully decorated so I recommend looking inside.
