宜しくお願いします

「宜しくお願いします」 is a very common expression in Japan. Most emails I receive end with that expression. How can we translate it to English?

If your email contains a request:

• Thanks in advance.

If you want a reply to your email:

• I look forward to your reply.

素晴らしい

When we are impressed by an item and we think it's really great, we can say:

• It's the greatest thing since sliced bread!

We especially use this expression for new products or new inventions that we admire.

We don't use this expression for living things (people, animals, plants, etc.) or food.
